Ozoil made it' first Applicaiton Oil Exploration block to do (PİGM) Turkey General Directorate Petroleum Affairs in 2010 size with 60.000 hectares and located in the heart of Adana Basin respectively this field license granted to some international oil company before  

it was a two applicant for this block one is TPIC state oil company subsidairy of TPAO and Ozoil pravite company but Ozoil been selected by PİGM to granted block licenced in 25th of May 2011 the block licence number  was 4837 issued for a five year Exploration Period time and published in Official Newspaper of Turkey

 

moreover in 2000 state oil company TPAO drilled soysallı-1 well at depth of 1891 m. dry well in this field before 

previously some international oil company operate in this field before such as in 1975-1980 Shell Company, 1980-1990 Weeks Oil company from USA 1990-1995 Aladdin Middle East company from USA 1995-2000 Perenco 2000-2005 TPAO and 2005 -2010 TPIC Subsidiary of TPOA          

the Block 4837 is located at the south of Turkey distance to  Adana city is aprox. 45 km distance to Mediterranean Sea 50 km distance crude oil tank terminal 60 km distance to Baku Ceyhan oil terminal 50 km distance to Ceyhan Town 22 km

the lithology in the Basin's units start with Pliocene young formations  Continue with Miocene units the Basin has got highly Petroleum Potential with high rich source of rocks 

Ozoil started its operation in this field in 2011 after carefully studying seismic surveys and doing important other Geophysics works and Ozoil Company decided to drill Ozoil-1 well in 2015 at the south side of the Block at a depth of 1151 m. Ozoil discovered and tested 21,4 API grade oil at the depth of 575 m. and 1100 meters the pay zone interwall a Jura / Cretaceous Limestone this historical discovery was a second discovery after Bulgur mountains in Adana Basin after MEM Mediterranean Exploration Mobile company did in 1960 

Ozoil company drilled Ozoil-1 well with it's own rig at depth of 1151 m. accrued well log from Schlumberger company runned casings and done cementing operation after processing the log data dedicated to perforate 425 m and 575 m and 610 m interwall tested 21,4 API gravity oil with the lack of finance couldn't able to get it to complete the well and brought the well to the production while company seeking finence the Exploraiton time is end-up after 5 years exploration period time is endup and unfortunately order the new general directorate of PİGM drop the our license so the company lost all is effort and investment due to limit of finance Ozol did succesfull discovery with a limited capital from it's first licence and from it's first drilled well, wihout having thrid party counsulting, it's a grand honour and reputation for Ozoil company

after the state oil company TPAO took the license with ready well with ready oil they took well to production Ozoil-1 well immediately start with 250 bbl/pd TPAO drilled additionaly 8 more well currently producing in total 3000 bbl/pd in the field

by the way TPAO Anounced counted here 30 million bbl producable reservoir 21,4 API Oil in pleaced later TPAO changed the well name and field name to Çukurova-1 well name and field name to do Çukurova oil field. 

Ozol did succesfull discovery with a limited capital from it's first licence and from it's first drilled well, wihout having thrid party counsulting, it's a grand honour and reputation for Ozoil company
