the Block 4837 is located at south of Turkey in the Adana city the Basin distance to Mediterranean Sea with a 50 km distance also 60 km distance to Oil tank sea Terminal  and 40 km Distance to Adana City center 20 km distance to Ceyhan Town 

the lithology in Adana Basin's units start with Pliocene young formations  Continue with Miocene units the Basin has got highly Petroleum Potential with high rich source of rocks 

Ozoil started its operation in this field in 2011 after carefully studying seismic surveys and doing important other Geophysics works and Ozoil Company decided to drill Ozoil-1 well in 2015 at the south side of the Block at a depth of 1151 m. Ozoil discovered and tested 21,4 API grade oil at the depth of 1100 meters the pay zone interwall a Jura / Cretaceous Limestone this historical discovery was a second discovery after Bulgur mountains in Adana Basin  after MEM Mediterranean Exploration Mobile company did 1960 Ozoil company drilled Ozoil-1 well et depth of 1151 m. accrued well log from Schlumberger company runned casings and done cementing operation after processing the log data dedicated to perforate 550 m and 575 m and 610 m interwall 

but with the lack of finance couldn't tested well with proper equipment tested well with air compressor and collected oil in mud tanks after analysing with a 21,4 API gravity oil company were urgently looking for finance but couldn't able to get it to complete the well and brought the well to production tha last change company decide to drill geothermal well for geothermal company in Sakaray city this Geothermal company cheated Ozoil not paid it's drilling services money than Ozoil became very bad position couldn't able to return the licence after 5 years exploration period time is endup and unfortunately the new general directorate of PİGM drop the our license so the company lost all is effort and investment due to limit of finance 

after the state oil company TPAO took the license with ready well with ready oil they took well to production Ozoil-1 well start with 250 bbl/pd currently TPAO drilled 8 well producing 2500 bbl/pd by the way TPAO Anounced counted here 30 million bbl producable 21,4 API Oil in pleaced later TPAO changed the well and field name to Çukurova-1 well name now the field name is Çukurova oil field they have to because in 2000 before Ozoil they drilled Sosysallı-1 dry well in this field which is 2 km distance to Ozoil-1 well so it's not good for their reputation such a small Ozoil company discovered oil instead of very big oil company TPAO with a vast capital and Engineer army which TPAO working 55 years in this Adana basin drilled more than 50 dry wells
